Doing the right thing is what we aim to do at Hodge.  We are a financial services business focused on the retail savings, commercial lending and retirement markets.  The Hodge Foundation, a charity supporting the welfare, medical, academic and educational areas owns over 75% of our business. This drives us, knowing that by helping our customers to achieve their goals, we are also helping good causes that are important to us.

We have achieved significant growth over the last few years and have ambitious plans to expand further.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to take responsibility for the development and implementation of the information security governance framework, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and within the group’s risk appetite.

Working closely with key stakeholders, this is a first line of defence role.  You will be responsible for leading on data protection, governance, information security risks and supporting the management of security incidents and events.

You will also provide guidance and assurance to senior management on the effectiveness and compliance of controls and risk management processes.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills who has the ability to work autonomously.

Part of your responsibility will be design and delivery of training programmes to help employees (up to executive level) understand their role in information security risk management.

To be successful you must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and extensive knowledge of the current information security landscape. Previous Financial Services experience is desirable, but not essential.

You will be encouraged to continue with your professional development.  Financial support and study leave may be available.
