Automation Manager/Designer

We are looking for an experienced Automation design engineer for an important position at a multi faceted engineering company.

The main duties include:

Electrical design : 
Design of control systems for small to medium sized automated machinery and equipment. 
Drawings to conform to IEC design standards using Solid Edge. 
To include functional safety systems designed to the relevant safety performance level and harmonised standards required for the given application, issuing of Sistema evaluation report.

Software Design and Commissioning : 
Produce PLC code and HMI application screens for Standard products and bespoke applications. 
Use of Siemens TIA, Mitsubishi GX works would be advantageous. 
Some site commissioning will be required.

Technical Support : Support of customers and company subsidiaries departments in an Electrical / Software support role.

Management of Automation Department : 
Allocation of work and build schedules to automation staff.
