We are looking for two Knowledge Transfer Officers to work with the Knowledge Transfer Manager to provide information, signposting and guidance on a wide range of volunteer led family support topics.

Home-Start is a federated network of local organisations which provide community based support for families and children.  Over the past four decades Home-Start has supported over a million children and has become one of the leading family support charities across the UK.

Home-Start UK is committed to providing the Home-Start network to access current information, learning and knowledge both from within the network and from external sources.  To enable us to do this we are creating a new knowledge transfer department.

The ideal candidates will be comfortable using a wide range of communication platforms and be experienced in desk research and information sourcing.

This role also includes co-ordinating and facilitating meetings, events and training programmes together with the provision and distribution of resources, and publications to the network.  Excellent organisational skills, together with clear and concise communication skills are key here.

Candidates should be able to evidence continual professional development in information and administration and up to date Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Access, to intermediary level.  Experience of working as an information office in the voluntary sector would be an advantage.
