Registered House Manager - Children's Residential Services Location - Somerset Salary - Up to ??30,000 Depending on experience plus paid over time and flexible hours My Clients are providers of residential care and learning for children and young adults. Established over 10 years ago they are leading providers of care, support and education to children with learning difficulties, communication difficulties and Autistic spectrum conditions. They have 3 residential settings as well as a school which caters for the educational needs up to post 16 qualifications. They offer safe and caring home environments where children can grow and achieve to their full potential. They are currently recruiting for a House Manager to lead the team in a boys home with children aged 8 - 18. This home is rated "Good" with Ofsted. As a Registered home Manager you will require: You will be an experienced registered manager with experience of working with young people in a similar role.Committed to working with children with challenging behaviour and complex needs.Qualified to NVQ level 5 in Leadership and Management.You will possess a thorough understanding of CQC standards and be confident to mentor and support the Assistant Manager and Senior Residential Workers.You will be responsible for general home management, leadership and coaching in best practice.You will strive to retain the high care standards already in place. Working closely with the Assistant Manager and the care team, you will ensure that care plans are monitored correctly and in place. Able to work with flexibility - this is not a full time 9 - 5 role and you can split your hours over evenings and weekends when required.You will be a driver with 2 year experience.
