Senior Development Engineer - Clevedon - ??37,000 - ??42,000One of our world renowned engineering clients who are the world leader in their industry, based in Clevedon is looking to recruit someone who can fill the role of Senior Development Engineer. They are looking for a person that can work within the Clevedon NPI team to develop and implement new products into the market place following the Product Commercialisation process, including product design and development. The key responsibilities for this role include:* Development of new platforms and new options for existing platforms to support continued business growth.* Design calculations in support of design.* Providing support to the more junior members of the engineering team* Preparation of technical construction documents, HAZOPS and Safety ReviewsIdeally, all candidates with be proficient in 3D CAD software (preferably CATIA). Our client is also looking for an individual with relevant experience in a development role. A good mechanically based Engineering degree or other engineering qualification depending on experience. Added to this, a good understanding of piping and instrumentation diagrams and system schematics would put the candidate at a good advantage.The candidate should be self-managing and motivated, with a good ability to design and develop all aspects of the product range.
