An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Maths faculty. We are looking to appoint an exciting and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to play a significant part within a dedicated and supportive team. You will be working in and making significant contributions to a team that is committed to continually raising standards.
Northampton Academy is a transformational school serving a diverse community. We were proud to be judged 'good' by Ofsted in all areas in February 2016. Our results have increased dramatically and this year we have achieved a Progress 8 score which places us near to the top of all schools nationally. This is a great opportunity for someone intelligent, astute and ambitious to build on this foundation towards excellence.
We are part of United Learning, a unique group of independent and state schools working together to achieve the best in everyone. Our vision is to provide excellent education so that all young people are able to make a success of their lives and if we are to realise this vision, we need to make sure we attract, develop and reward the key ingredient - you. Being part of one of the leading school groups in the country, we offer unrivalled career development opportunities and support to ensure you achieve your ambitions.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record of success in the classroom and within the wider context of the school. If you can demonstrate that you have all of the qualities listed above, have a proven track record of making a significant impact and raising achievement, then we would love to hear from you. Additional responsibility may also available for a suitably experienced candidate.
United Learning is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
