Financial Accountant
We currently require a Financial Accountant, to be based at our Larbert office, to have responsibility for various Head Office financial accounting activities.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with colleagues across the business and build solid relationships to facilitate growth in role
- Present credibly to senior management
- Motivate and develop the team, ensuring all team members have the required skills to do their jobs effectively whilst identifying & developing key individuals for future progression
- Ensure effective communication with the team by holding monthly meetings / 1:1s
- Manage the Purchase Ledger team, ensure day to day management and sound control framework
- Management of the Financial Accounts team
- Full responsibility for the reconciliation of all Certas bank accounts on a monthly basis
- Responsibility for the employee expense reclaim process with Certas
- Year end tax pack preparation and submission
- PSA reporting and submission to HMRC
- P11d review and submission to HMRC
- Ownership of the Channel Islands Fuels accounts from monthly management reporting to statutory accounts and tax pack preparation
Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
- Qualified Accountant
- Excellent excel skills
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Interpersonal skills
- Communication skills
- Ability to work on own, and with a team
- Management experience
