Despatch & Intake Supervisor (Full-Time & Perm)

Zenrec are working on behalf of our client Linden Foods, who are seeking to recruit for a Despatch & Intake Supervisor for their site in Dungannon.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Department Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure that Despatch and Intake are run effectively. You will provide an effective level of supervision to the team and processes ensuring that all Quality, H&S and Customer rules and procedures are complied with and the department is audit ready at all times.

Role;

?? Ensuring that all orders and checks are carried out in a timely manner with the required paperwork completed and supplied to the relevant departments

?? Provide supervision to the Intake and Despatch teams whilst ensuring that the relevant systems are updated and maintained daily

?? Be responsible for scheduling and planning daily work requirements for all operatives and team leaders on your shift based on production orders

?? Taking the lead in daily stock takes and being responsible for ensuring that the required stock is issued to the production areas whilst ensuring the necessary checks are conducted

?? Train and develop a team of Operatives to ensure flexibility within the department

?? Ensure strict deadlines are met whilst complying with customer specifications, quality protocols and procedures

?? Assist the shipping department with organising and building loads for UK, ROI and Europe

?? Liaise with the sales and planning departments on a regular basis

?? Ensure that all quality and hygiene standards as well as health and safety requirements are met and adhered to

Criteria:

?? Previous Intake / Despatch experience is essential

?? Previous supervisory experience would be desirable

?? Previous stock control experience is essential

?? Hands on approach to solving problems and achieving results is a must

?? Excellent communication, interpersonal and reporting skills

?? Ability to work as part of a team

?? Have a good attitude to Health & Safety

?? Ability to be highly flexible with regards to working hours and travel between sites.
