Planner

There is now a vacancy for a Planner to join a leading construction company in Kent. Salary package for the Planner is cGBP60k + pension + benefits. Planner role reports to the Commercial Director. Purpose of the Role: The purpose of the Planner is to act as an Engineer who develops plans on Construction projects. The Planner will manage the work cycle on specific projects. They will work alongside Site Managers, Surveyors and Estimators to ensure the successful and safe completion of a job. The Planner will function as part of the bid writing team, with pre-contract programmes and site visits. Primary Responsibilities: Administering SchedulesPresenting InformationReviewing current schedulesDeveloping contract and construction programmesProject planningDevelopment of Engineering methodologies Person Specification: Must have experience of tender stage programming and quality submissionsGood Verbal and written CommunicatorExcellent creative skillsHighly numerate with ability to manipulate numerical informationGreat organisational skills and attention to detailStrong Analytical and reasoning abilitiesComputer literate/ Excellent understanding and knowledge of all Microsoft packages
