Junior Occupational Therapist - Band 5

OT for Kids are a growing, private paediatric occupational therapy company. We are currently looking to recruit a Junior Occupational Therapist in Manchester who is enthusiastic and passionate about working in occupational therapy.

We work with a variety of individuals in a multitude of settings, including in schools, at home or in one of our clinics. We offer both one to one therapy and group work.

Our Junior Occupational Therapist vacancy will involve providing Occupational Therapy groups to children in primary and secondary schools across Manchester, working with the team to make continuing improvements to the quality of the service we provide and writing website specific content to promote Occupational Therapy.

We are looking for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in paediatrics, who is motivated to succeed and who strives for ongoing self development.

Essential Requirements:

• BSc Occupational Therapy
• BAOT registration
• HCPC registration
• Driven, hard working and committed individual
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience of working with children in any capacity
• Clear understanding of the underpinning theory to practice
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Clear understanding of the BAOT professional code of conduct and relevant professional guidelines
• Hold a full driving licence and have their own vehicle
