An exciting role as a General Manager of our Country House and Boutique hotel, which forms part of our family run multi award winning craft brewery which includes four award winning individual venues. The Country House, is set in the Kedleston Estate, a stunning Georgian building combining a restaurant, bar, wedding venue and boutique hotel, within easy drive from Derby and a stone???s throw from the peak district.
They are currently recruiting for a General Manager to be responsible for managing all daily operations across the restaurant, bar, hotel and wedding venue.
Responsibilities
-Manage and oversee the key functions of the business
-Create a culture of excellence through progressive, planned and executed staff training and development
-Manage and develop senior management to achieve optimal guest satisfaction via ongoing feedback
-Pro actively analyse the business, utilising the sales data available and your experience to help drive trade and help form a strategic plan for growth
-Ensure best practice hygiene and legislation is always in place and documented
Person
-A hands-on, hard working problem solver, who performs well in high-pressure situations
-An inspirational, motivational, persuasive and charming leader
-Someone who leads by example with the highest standards
-A positive, progressive, people person with high attention to detail
-Organised, proactive and results driven
Skills
-A minimum of eighteen months in a similar role
-A passion for food and strong drinks knowledge
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Good understanding of numeracy and profitability
-A valid UK driving license
-Comfortable with EPOS
-An understanding of project planning, would be looked on favourably
-Real ale management
Benefits & Package:
The package for the role is up to ??35,000 depending on experience plus tips and 10% bonus
