Our client is one of the highest performing Colleges in London, rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in June 2016. The College has reinvigorated its focus on improving the student experience, raising student aspirations and delivering consistently good and outstanding teaching, learning and assessment. As a major provider of further, higher and adult education to over 10,000 students, their staff have quality at the heart of everything they do.
They are now looking for a bank of casual Examination Invigilators to manage the College’s external examinations throughout the year and in particular, the Summer exam period of mid-May to the end of June.
Complying with awarding body examination regulations at all times, you will collect exam papers and stationery from the exams office prior to the start of examinations and manage the entry of candidates into exam venues, ensuring their belongings are appropriately stored. After opening and distributing question papers, you will complete attendance registers and carefully check student IDs, completing exams documentation as and when required. Maintaining vigilance during the full length of the examination, you will ensure candidates have completed all necessary information on their scripts and collect scripts in candidate order before managing candidates exiting the exam room.
Experience of examination invigilation is not essential, full training will be given – all that they ask is that you have excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work responsibly in a pressurised environment.
Closing Date: Friday 31st March 2017
