Operational Response Engineers (Emergency/Repair)
Location: Hull
We are pleased to announce a number of career opportunities around our geographical area for Operational Response Engineers (ORE's).
Being responsible for protecting life and property providing an emergency response service is an important role, for which we need people with passion and commitment to customer service and safety.
The role will involve working within a team as well as some lone working as the duties vary depending on volumes of workload, work type and seasonal requirements. During low volumes of emergency workload the Operational ResponseEngineer will be required to undertake operative duties within a small team working on Repair, Connections or Replacement activities (this involves site preparation, excavation and assisting the craftsperson/Team Leader).
The role of Operational Response Engineer involves you working 41.25 hours a week on a variable shift pattern between the hours of 7am until 10pm and will include weekend working.

Full training will be given to undertake this role however we do ask that:-
- You can start with us on the 9th June 2017 for your induction.
- You can ensure you are available for the 3 week period after your start date so that you are able to complete your training with 100% attendance
- Have eligibility to work in the UK
- Hold a full valid driving licence
- You are Gas Safe Registered
- You are willing to work the variable shift patterns and participate in an out of hours' standby rota.
