The Role

As our Client Account Manager, you’ll work closely with the Directors of the business to ensure that they are brought in for quarterly or bi-annual reviews with clients or for helping to secure development opportunities where these arise.  As a part of the wider business development team though, you will be expected to generate new opportunities from our current clients as well as to contribute to other development activities in a proactive way. Responsibilities will include:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our services and how the outcomes that we generate can support large companies to be even more successful
  • Be responsible for setting (in conjunction with the Directors) and implementing the overall penetration plan for our current clients, focusing on our ‘Windows of Opportunity’
  • Identify the current direction of travel of major client initiatives and who is involved with them internally by developing comprehensive stakeholder maps that start to build a picture of internal relationships
  • Identify the opportunities where Notion can contribute the maximum value by enabling our clients to successfully accomplish their intended outcomes from people, cultural and change initiatives
  • Capture comprehensive notes and keep the CRM up-to-date and follow through on actions agreed with an almost zealous fervour (again to ensure that we capitalise on every opportunity)
  • Assign tasks and pull from other BD team members as necessary to ensure that resource doesn’t become a blocker to securing new opportunities with current clients
  • Oversee the development of new proposals by the rest of the team for opportunities that you are proposing and pursue these through to close
  • Conduct follow-up calls to members of current clients that might have been through our programmes to learn from them, develop new BD collateral (testimonials / references) and also to secure further contacts internally
 
Candidates open to freelance / self-employed or contract status preferred, although this should not prohibit application. For the right candidate, there will be additional opportunities over time for bonuses based on company performance.

 
You will have

As our ideal Client Account Manager, you will of course strong rapport building skills and the appropriate gravitas to be able to represent the Directors in furthering our relationships. You will have significant experience in senior account management, and a track record of generating new business as well as possessing a strong desire to learn. You will ideally have technological experience and detailed consciousness in seeing through capturing notes and updating CRM. Above all you will have a passion for getting things done.
