Due to continuing business success and growth we now have a fantastic opportunity available for a Compliance and Systems Manager to join our Landfill Energy team at our Pilsworth site.


Compliance and Systems Manager responsibilities:

Working 37.5hrs a week, Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for providing full compliance and systems support to the Landfill, Restoration and aftercare functions; as well as lending support to the Landfill and Aftercare business on a National basis. Your duties will include:
 
  • Ensuring compliance with all Company procedures, statutory legislation and industry good practice.
  • Reducing risk and improve Health, Safety and Well Being for yourself and those who report directly to you
  • Managing and assisting site managers with data entry
  • Generating reports and performing entry-level data analysis for feedback to Head of Landfill and Aftercare.
  • Reviewing and updating key matrices to find solutions/troubleshoot issues on behalf of unit managers and supervisors.
  • Administrate and undertake Internal Auditing of staff in relation to our Quality Management System
  • Assist in managing and implementing new company procedures.
  • Ensure all sites remain fully compliant with statutory, regulatory, legislative, BMS and corporate requirements.
  • Undertaking site assessments and audits at all sites within the Landfill and Aftercare portfolio and make recommendations for improvement
  • Assist in managing change
  • Assist in implementing new policies and procedures ensuring compliance and smooth running of sites
  • Reporting and feeding back key KPI’s to Head of Landfill and Aftercare
 
The ideal Compliance and Systems Manager will have:
 
  • Knowledge of corporate systems, internal auditing BSI standards and BSI auditing in relation to installing and maintaining robust and efficient Management systems
  • Good working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety practices and training particularly in risk assessments and safe operating procedures
  • Strong ICT literacy including: CMMS, Office and Finance
  • Relevant COTC Qualification or equivalent
  • IOSH Supervising Safely or equivalent Health and Safety qualification
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Experience of leading and managing business change/transition
  • General knowledge of the waste industry, aftercare and related operations
  • The ability to be well organised and think logistically
  • Full driving license
In return for the Compliance and Systems Manager position, we can offer a salary of £35,000 - £40000 per annum as well as an attractive benefits package.
