A highly valued client of mine and well regarded name in the actuarial market is seeking to appoint a nearly qualified actuary with 3 to 4 years' experience.
As an integral member of the London Actuarial team in this newly created role, your responsibilities will include working with a wide range of both Trustee and corporate clients of varying scheme types and sizes, carrying out challenging calculation work, and delegating and reviewing work.
You will also start to build up the managerial aspect of your actuarial career and become responsible for the provision of training to more junior actuarial staff. There is also scope to become involved in business development as my client goes from strength to strength in the market.
This opportunity would suit an ambitious and technically astute pensions actuary who is approaching qualification (ideally FIA/FFA 2017). My client and I require excellent progress through the actuarial exams and a strong technical knowledge of UK pensions and commercial acumen.
