Stores Assistant - Warehouse

A Stores Assistant is required to join a leading player in the Industrial Electronics and Communications industry, providing contract engineering and manufacturing services to clients within a large number of industry sectors. Job Summary: Supporting the Stores Supervisor in day to day stock control activities, with key priorities being the receiving and dispatch of goods. Stores are responsible for the traceability and movement of all materials held within the company. The job is offered with ample training on both the stock system and also company processes.

Main Duties:

- Carrying out Warehouse and Stores activities
- Goods Inwards and received
- Dispatch of goods to customers
- Inspection of goods inwards
- Issuing goods from their warehouse to the production team
- Ensuring that production shortages are issued in a timely manner

Desired Skills & Experience:

- Previous experience working in an industrial /retail warehouse environment
- Computer literate, full training will be given on the company systems.
- Excellent team player
- A forklift driving license would be desirable
- A full UK Driving license
