Role: Strategic Project & Support Officer,

Business Wales

Location: Pencoed, Bridgend

Salary: up to £30,000 per annum

Hours: full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Strategic Project & Support Officer is a new and exciting opportunity supporting the Management Team of the Business Wales service.

Business Wales provides first class business support to Welsh SMEs on behalf of the Welsh Government, funded by the European Regional Development Fund and delivered by Growth Partnership Wales (GPW), a partnership of Business in Focus, Antur Teifi and Peninsula Enterprise (PE).

The successful candidate will undertake initial analysis and prepare reports for the National Manager.

To achieve this, the Strategic Project & Support Officer will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis to collate relevant performance and financial information.

Additionally, the Strategic Project & Support Officer will also provide project management support to the Business Wales Management Team for a variety of projects required in delivering the Business Wales service.

The successful candidate will need to have:

• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to prepare and report
• information in a clear and concise manner
• Proven project management experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Mae’r Swyddog Prosiect a Chymorth Strategol yn swydd newydd a chyffrous a fydd yn cefnogi Tîm Rheoli gwasanaeth Busnes Cymru.  Mae Busnes Cymru yn  darparu cymorth busnes o'r radd flaenaf i BBaCh Cymru ar ran Llywodraeth Cymru, wedi ei ariannu gan Gronfa Datblygu Rhanbarthol Ewrop a’i gyflwyno gan Bartneriaeth Twf Cymru (GPW), partneriaeth rhwng Busnes mewn Ffocws, Antur Teifi a Peninsula Enterprise (PE).

Bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn gwneud gwaith dadansoddi cychwynnol ac yn paratoi adroddiadau ar gyfer y Rheolwr Cenedlaethol. Er mwyn cyflawni hyn, bydd gofyn i'r Swyddog Prosiect a Chymorth Strategol gysylltu â rhanddeiliaid mewnol ac allanol yn rheolaidd i gasglu gwybodaeth perfformiad ac ariannol perthnasol.

Yn ogystal, bydd y Swyddog Prosiect a Chymorth Strategol hefyd yn darparu cymorth rheoli prosiect i Dîm Rheoli Busnes Cymru ar amrywiaeth o brosiectau sy'n ofynnol i gyflwyno gwasanaeth Busnes Cymru.

Bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn meddu ar:

• Sgiliau dadansoddi cryf
• Y gallu i baratoi gwybodaeth a’i hadrodd mewn dull clir a chryno
• Profiad profedig o reoli prosiect
• Sgiliau rhyngbersonol a chyfathrebu cryf
