One of the UK's leading home-visiting Optician and Hearing specialist is currently looking for a Patient Services Advisor to join their Head Office, based in Swindon.
Key Duties:
- To be the first point of contact for the patient or carer/relative
- Respond to incoming telephone calls as necessary
- To search computerised patient records, checking that patient details are fully up to date and amending where needed
- Take and transfer calls from other professionals to the most appropriate source
- Use knowledge, experience and questioning skills to prioritise workload
- Identify and satisfy all patient queries by using initiative, ensuring patient delight
- Commit to the belief of 'always do what is right for the patient'
- Competently manage and record information as required
- Operate in line with the company policies and procedures
