Learning Support Assistants (Bank/Pool)
Hours: Various - Term Time Only (As required, at short notice)
Based: Wakefield - West Yorkshire (College Wide - with some travel)
Salary/Rate of Pay: GBP8.46 per hour

We require Learning Support Assistants to join our pool of staff who are available at short notice.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll contribute to the delivery of appropriate non-teaching support in classroom situations and other college settings, working with students with additional support needs on a 1:1 or group basis in accordance with the overall learner support plans.
Ideally, although not necessarily, we're looking for Learning Support Assistants who have direct experience of working with people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities in an educational setting, as well as a proven ability to motivate students and promote learning. Alongside this, you must have a flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to travel between our campuses.
You should:
- Have experience of working with people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
- Have experience of working with learners with additional support needs in an educational setting
- Hold a GCSE in English grade 'A-C' or equivalent
- Hold a GCSE in Mathematics grade 'A-C' or equivalent
