Smart Recruitment are looking to recruit multiple CNC Setter / Operators for a business in South Somerset - all positions are permanent, and are available with an immediate start, or after serving notice depending on your situation. Positions available for both Turning and Milling.
Positions are available in various sections of their machine shop - a position in Grinding/Honing, a position on a Lathe doing Turning and a position on a CNC Milling Centre. You will need to be familiar with Fanuc controls, understand and load programs, and change off-sets. You do not need to be a programmer, but of course if you do have programming experience then you are still welcome to apply. You need to be able to read 1st angle and 3rd angle projection drawings and have experience of high and low volume machining
Competitive rates of pay, with enhancements paid for shifts, and overtime enhancements paid for additional hours worked during the week, and at the weekend.
You will be working on producing critical parts for the automotive and aerospace industries, so we need people who take pride in the work they do
