We are looking for an Enthusiastic and Professional Support Technician to join a very busy team delivering water management products (Drainage) to the UK and Export construction industries. The role requires identifying and exploiting opportunities to strengthen relationships with existing customers and develop new business.
Key Activities
- Complete Production of manufacturing drawings ad details
- Identify manufacturing opportunities and capabilities of the Production Team.
- Assist Fabrication team by means of design and design based queries
- Issue standard product information, literature, drawings and specifications
- Provide technical support to customers and external and internal staff on fabricated production ranges
- Answer technical queries on the phone and by email
- Support New Product Development Team
- Site visits to customers when necessary to assist customers and internal sales team.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Understanding and use of punch- programming software RADAN or similar.
- Experience with CAD based package, Solidworks or similar.
- Competant IT Skills including Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of fabrication and welding techniques
- Understanding of the construction industry, customers and customer requirements
- Understand current Building regulations and British Standards
- Ability to prioritise work according to demand and deliver excellent customer service
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
