Sales Manager
An exciting opportunity is available to join a very fast growing digital marketing agency in Warrington. They need a Sales Manager with experience in selling products and services over the phone and in person. You will be an integral part of this business, which has massive expansion plans and offers incredible career development opportunities.
About The Company
Our client is a search engine marketing company with offices in Manchester and Warrington. They pride themselves on delivering a world class service to companies around the world, especially the UK, USA and Canada. The founding Directors have decades of combined experience and this makes them one of the most experienced specialist agencies in the UK, if not globally. The company is currently growing very quickly and they are getting more new business enquiries than they can handle. They urgently need a motivated sales person to help them close contracts and onboard clients, as well as actively seek new business opportunities.
Your Role
They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated salesperson to handle incoming sales enquiries, Generate new business enquiries, and manage existing clients. Although they have a high number of sales enquiries already being generated on a regular basis, some self-generated sales is also expected.
Because the nature of their work is based on retainer income, you will be paid a good salary (based on experience) plus a trail commission (uncapped), meaning there is no limit to your earnings potential and they expect the successful candidate to be earning in excess of £55,000 per annum within their first year.
Responsibilities
The role will be varied, and you will need to be adaptable according to the demands of the business. You will primarily be based in Warrington but will need to be able to travel to client meetings around the northwest. Primary responsibilities include;
- Responding to inbound sales enquiries on a daily basis
- proactively contacting businesses to generate proactive sales
- Meeting with clients to discuss their requirements and conducting a fact find
- Preparing search engine marketing proposals and sending to clients
- Negotiating fees in order to achieve the best outcome for both our company and the client
- Onboarding clients using our standard intake form
- Reporting to clients on a monthly basis
- General customer contact and care
- Supporting the Fulfilment team in delivering an exceptional service
Job Requirements
- Exceptional communication skills
- Minimum 2 years sales experience
- Proven Track record in sales
- Excellent time management
- Performs well under pressure
- A burning desire to succeed
- Good computer skills
- Excellent written English skills
- Business travel to see clients at their premises will be expected, so you must have access to a car
Desirable Qualities
- SEO knowledge or knowledge of the digital marketing space
- Telemarketing experience
- Proven Track record or business development
