Mechanical Design Engineer - Near Harlow

ROLE- Mechanical Design Engineer LOCATION- Near Harlow, Essex TERM- Permanent SALARY- GBP24,000- GBP32,000 per annum (dependant on experience, please advise) My client is a supplier of innovative electro-mechanical products including automated systems. They are looking to take on a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis in the Essex area. The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: HNC/ HND/ Degree qualified in Mechanical EngineeringHave good knowledge of mechanical engineering principlesHave an understanding of tolerances, stress analysis, different material selection and manufacturing processesBe able to use 3D CAD ideally SolidWorksGood proficiency in using Microsoft Office programsTime management skills and the ability to work well under pressureFull UK driving licence is essentialAny previous electrical or electro-mechanical product experience would also be desirable The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve: Producing 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorksCreating the BOM's to go with the design workWorking on research and development of company productsProviding technical advice to colleagues and customers when requiredTesting and analysing the designs If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
