IES Energy Modeller/Sustainability Consultant
They are looking for someone with a passion for sustainability and the desire to learn.
You will have a good grounding in sustainable building design and energy policy/legislation to drive the company's growth plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist their sustainability team and associated services proposition
- Undertake Energy Statements and Energy Modelling Simulations for planning applications and lead responses to clients/local authorities
- Support and undertake Energy Audits in line with company processes
Manage and coordinate preferred supplier schedules/sustainability tracker documents and assist with proposals
- M&E CAD coordination and design duties
- Undertake Daylighting/Sunlighting/Overshadowing Assessments
- Mechanical and Electrical CAD coordination duties for performance design, detail design and construction drawings
- Complex Thermal Modelling analysis to assist with Environmental design
- Undertake Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) modelling

Knowledge Skills and Experience

- Essential -
- Engineering or Environmental Degree qualified
- A minimum of 5 years property design experience
- Competent using IES for thermal modelling for Energy, Daylighting and CFD Assessments
- Knowledge of energy assessor for SAP and SBEM (commercial EPCs)
- Awareness of BREEAM (not necessarily accredited), part L requirements and the London Plan
- Good understanding of renewable technologies
- Experience and confidence on using AutoCAD
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Microsoft Excel, Office and PowerPoint
- Google Sketch Up
- IES or equivalent for daylight planning reports
- Progressing your Chartership

- Preferable -
- Knowledge and/or experience of integration of CHP, district heating solutions
- Experience in education, large mixed use schemes, leisure and prime residential developments
- Design builder experience
- Knowledge of thermal modelling requirements for LEED ASHRAE
