Cambridge University Press has a unique opportunity available for a Team Administrator - Legal and Business Affairs to join the team. The role is a full time, 12 month fixed term contract offering a salary of £18,536 - £21,316 per annum plus benefits.

This is a newly created role with a broad remit of administrative duties to support a friendly team of Legal professionals.  No previous Legal experience is necessary but you need to have an enthusiasm for admin and teamwork.  The role entails some PA duties (e.g. diary and travel) for the team and a range of support activities such as dealing with expenses and handling basic IT issues.

What are the responsibilities of the Team Administrator?

- Part of an interesting, dynamic and complex team. Day to day made up of a variety of tasks, including diary organisation, booking travel, arranging events, managing filing, invoices and day to day admin, and supporting the Legal & Business Affairs team with any basic IT issues.

- Job challenges include co-ordinating a wide variety of tasks involving or from multiple people in an efficient, effective and calm manner.

- Maintaining appropriate loyalties and strict discretion of confidential information.

- Working in an international organisation, with different time zones, cultures and objectives.

- The expectation of this role is to be responsible for ensuring that the General Counsel, the General Counsel’s PA and the Legal & Business Affairs Team are supported in fulfilling the broad spectrum of their complex and demanding roles at the Press.

- Potential for this role to become more involved in personally assisting the General Counsel. Support to the Team will involve departmental projects, office moves and supporting new and existing global staff.

What skills do I need to have to become a Team Administrator?

- A strong team player with a flexible approach to the varying demands of an office.

- Demonstrable experience of working in a Team Administrator role, or similar, ideally in a medium to large organisation.

- Strong IT skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Role suited to an organised, efficient, calm individual, who is ambitious and enjoys working as part of a diverse and fast-paced team.
