IT Manager

They are looking to recruit an IT Manager, running a small team of support staff. Your main duties are to ensure the steady running of the companies Microsoft Navision platform alongside standard back end duties. Given their global presence, infrequent travel will be required. You will have extensive experience of working with Microsoft Navision and will be able to streamline current workload within this role. You will also hold a solid background in IT and will have a wide range of knowledge across core infrastructure technologies, SQL and Visual Basic Experience is an advantage.

Main responsibilities:
- To fix, maintain and upgrade, Server and PC Hardware
- Manage Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Oversee remote support consisting of approximately 150 users over 7 sites globally
- Manage and Maintain Security protocol and procedures
- Control all aspects of Mobile phones and devices, Apple and Android
- Operate the VOIP Phone landing system
- Manage vendors and contracts
- Manage the IT team with responsibility for appraisals, setting objectives and monitoring individual performance and improvement

Knowledge and experience of:
- Office 365
- SLQ Server
- NAV 2015 Preferably development experience
- SharePoint Preferably development experience
- Networking knowledge including fibre and WiFi
- VBA
- Visual Basic 6 Development
- Visual Studio C# Development
- Windows 7 - 10
- Mac OSX
- Windows Server 2008 upwards.
- VMWare ESXI
