Kronospan has an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join the team based in Chirk, North Wales. This is a full time, permanent position offering a competitive salary.

Due to massive investment on site and internal promotion, Kronospan has an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join the team based in Chirk, North Wales. 

Key Responsibilities of the Credit Controller

- To influence working capital requirements by reducing debtors days & minimising overdue amounts.

- Using your initiative within agreed guidelines, you will manage specified sales ledger accounts and regularly liaise with a portfolio of customers, ensuring that credit terms and limits are adhered to, whilst building and maintaining a good relationship with these customers.

- You will need to be proactive in communicating both internally and externally to assist with the speedy resolution of any issues or claims that may delay payment or otherwise harm the perception of our customer service levels.

Credit Controller Requirements

- Committed and energetic, but with a methodical approach and good attention to detail, you will need to have previous experience of administrative work including exposure to the work of a credit control department.

- You will need to have the confidence and telephone manner to spend a proportion of your time being proactive in encouraging payment.

- Numeracy and computer literacy supported by a good standard of general education is essential.
