Data Cabling Engineer (Birmingham)

Our client provides network integration services including Category 5e, 6, and 6A data cabling in addition to wide range of Audio Visual solutions.

Currently, they are looking for capable, self-driven individuals who are able to work as part of a professional team delivering consistently high quality solutions and services to their clients in the Birmingham/Midlands area

In addition to hands-on data cabling experience, the role demands the ability to quickly become familiar with various AV hardware forming part of their solution portfolio.

A self-learning aptitude is a perquisite requirement for this vacancy and some training will be given.

If you already possess knowledge and working installation experience of AV systems, this is considered a distinct advantage.

MCS AV solutions portfolio includes:

Displays and brackets

Sound reinforcement

Distributed audio

AV matrix switching and HD IP

Meeting room collaboration systems

Control solutions

Applications are invited from both contractors seeking a rolling 6-month contract as well as from those seeking permanent employment.

As some projects are in the educational and healthcare sectors, successful applicants will be DBS (CRB) checked.

Our client offers a comprehensive package including:

Competitive salary – dependent upon experience, ranging from  £22,000.00 to £27,000.00  plus overtime

20 days paid holiday
