Support / Targeted Intervention Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a Male Support / Targeted Intervention Assistant to start as soon as possible.
This rewarding role is to provide assistance and practical help and support to a male student with physical difficulties. You will be responsible for providing daily care including some aspects of daily living activities, ensuring safe mobility around the academy and implementation of physiotherapy programmes as directed. Support will be on a one to one basis and include support in practical lessons and educational visits. You will also support individual and small groups of students in order to promote their inclusion and to provide support for teaching and personalised learning.
A good standard of literacy skills are required as you will be working with the Assistant Principal to develop and support these students across the curriculum, tailoring support to match their needs by adapting and customising curriculum materials. The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting children, and working with families and outside agencies.
