As a fast growing, successful business we are looking to appoint a Restaurant and Bars Manager to oversee the whole of the food and beverage service departments, which includes Dining facilities, Bar, and Meetings and Events. You will have a team reporting directly to you who you will work with you to enhance the guest???s experience they expect from Hothorpe Hall.
We are looking for someone with excellent leadership qualities and the ability to interact with all levels of employees and management and must have extensive hotel Food and Beverage experience and have managed a team for at least two years.
You will be expected to work according to the needs of the business and be present for your team at all times of high sales.
The ability to read, write and speak fluently in English is essential as you will need excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Position overview
To manage both Hothorpe Hall & The Woodlands (within the grounds of Hothorpe Hall) dining, bar and all beverage service facilities to our ten meeting rooms
Ensure the optimum staffing levels and maximise efficiency, manage, motivate, train & develop staff
Increase sales through consistently exceeding guest expectations, satisfaction and effective and prompt problem resolution.
Ensure rooms are set and ready to meet the requirements of all dining guests whether small conference group or a large wedding.
Act as duty manager when required
Attend the weekly operational planning meeting
You will be contracted to 162.5 hours per calendar month, entitled to join our company pension scheme, 5.6 weeks holiday per annum, and work within a strong, friendly and successful team. On site accommodation is available.
