We are looking for a dynamic, inspirational, motivated Teacher of Mathematics who will make the subject exciting and stimulate students' interest and enthusiasm in their studies. You will play a part in helping to shape our courses for the new A-levels from 2017/18.
You will work within the hugely popular Mathematics and Computer Science department where you may be expected to teach across the following courses: A-level Mathematics; A-level Further Mathematics; GCSE Mathematics; Certificate in Mathematical Studies. Experience of teaching Computer Science would also be beneficial though not required.
You will contribute towards driving the improvement of Alps scores for the department. Your teaching will be of high quality and your results will reflect the high calibre of your teaching. You must have a commitment to active and innovative teaching and learning, both inside and outside the classroom. You will have the passion to be part of a successful teaching environment which produce the best from students. Applications from NQT's will be considered.
You will join a team of 14 full time and part time staff working in a spacious, well-resourced new building.
The vacancy closes on Monday 27th March 9am and interviews will be held on Wednesday 5th April.
