Trainee Technicians and Technicians

RPS are a specialist company who work with a variety of Water Companies across the UK and overseas undertaking drainage planning work using computer models and following risk based approaches. We are looking for junior technicians to join our growing team.

Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team of engineers and computer modellers undertaking a range of computer based work including use of Geographic Information System (GIS) software and Microsoft Excel.

• This includes working with mapping data, analysing datasets and learning to use computer modelling software. 
• There will be opportunities to accompany engineers onto site to oversee surveys.
• The job will be based at premises located in Derby. 
• No previous experience is required, with excellent in-house training including operating of GIS systems, we'll teach you all you need to know.

• Full time, permanent position (40hrs per week) including company benefits.

Candidate Requirements: 

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above is essential
• Computer literate including use of Microsoft Office.  
• An interest in the Environment, Flooding and the Water Industry is beneficial.
