This role will be based at our Service Centre in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. You will be working with, and supported by, our qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) on site in Aylesbury and will be supporting a project we are undertaking with Buckinghamshire County Council. The role will involve:
- Booking appointments by telephone and letter with service users for an Occupational Therapy Assessment
- Inputting assessment data onto the social care database accurately
- Ordering equipment online via our NRS system
- Liaising with our Occupational Therapist's regarding equipment provision
- Maintaining an accurate spreadsheet of service user data
- Conducting simple telephone reviews with service users following a standardised format

- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills and ability to maintain working relationships with a wide variety of people - professionals, older people and disabled people and their carers
- Computer literacy and ability to learn new IT programmes
- Accuracy in work and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Be self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to plan, organise and prioritise workloads and the ability to meet deadlines
