Are you an experienced SENCO seeking an exciting opportunity within the local area?
We are currently recruiting for a SENDCO for one of our secondary schools in Bolton. The role is a maternity cover and will be for 6 months.

Responsibilities:
- To advise the Senior Leadership team on the strategic development of
- SEND provision across the school
- To produce an annual departmental review, Development Plan and departmental SEF
- To ensure the school's SEND policy is fully compliant with current legislation and is effectively implemented across the school
- To work with the Senior Leadership team to ensure that the school meets its responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010 with regard to reasonable adjustments and access arrangements
Requirements:
- Excellent specialist subject knowledge
- SENCO qualification
- Ability to teach at both Key Stages 3 and 4
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of behaviour management strategies and how to successfully implement these
- High level communication skills including presentational skills
