£18,000 + bonus + commission (OTE £20k-£30k)
Full Time – including some weekends
Our client is seeking a Carpet Sales Consultant to join their growing furnishings business. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Sales Consultant who is looking to progress their career within an expanding company.
Although experience is preferred, any applicants showing the correct qualities and attitude will be considered and sales training will be provided
Position Summary
As Carpet Sales Consultant, you will be required to assist customers and provide inspirational consultations on the type of carpet they require. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Ensure that the presentation of the store is well maintained, making sure that customers shop in a clean and nice environment
• Helping out with in-store displays and general merchandising
• Being a point of contact for customers who enter the store
• Selling carpets to customers
Who are we looking for?
You will be financially motivated, focused, organised and confident. The following skills and experience will enable the successful candidate to hit the ground running:
• A proven track record of successfully meeting and / or exceeding sales targets
• Able to overcome objections, gather information and arrange sales with ease
• A passion for, or experience with selling carpets
• Excellent oral, written and computer communication skills
• Professionalism, to include dependability, accountability, and punctuality
• Empathy, patience and ability to stay calm and polite in stressful situations.
• Able to use your initiative and works well as part of a team.
