The Theme Park is located in 80 acres of idyllic setting of Pembrokeshire, West Wales, has an exciting opportunity for an individual to join its team as Head of Engineering and Estates.

Job Role:

You are responsible for the management of engineering and estates teams making sure all of rides and facilities are available for guests whilst meeting the highest standards of safety. You will plan, organise and coordinate engineering and maintenance activities. This is a key role in the park management team and you will also fulfil duty manager shifts. You will manage financial budgets for your departments; Procure and contract 3rd party services; be an active member of the Health and Safety Committee and ensure procedures are understood and practiced across departments; during the winter period you will lead the team and projects within your area of responsibility to deliver the statutory annual inspection.

The Candidate:

• Experience of managing team with strong leadership skills;
• Strong communication and organisation skills; have a great attitude, work ethic and passion to succeed;
• Ability to remain calm and clear headed when under pressure;
• Ability to read engineering drawings;
• Role required working at height.

The role is permanent, averaging 40 hours per week and will include weekends, bank holidays as required and some late nights during July/August. A full driving license is essential.

Alongside annual salary range of £30,000 to £32,000 the company is offering a benefits package that includes a pension plan, holiday package increasing on an annual basis, two week Christmas close down period, Monday to Friday working out of season and an Annual Pass into attractions worldwide.
