The Branch Manager Role

As a successful Branch Manager you will motivate and support your hard working teams whilst providing training and development, so that together you can provide the highest levels of service to your customers and suppliers
With your learned knowledge of the products and services they offer, you will be a pivotal contact for your customers, nurturing great relationships, understanding their needs in order to offer expert advice and recommending alternatives to profitably maximise the sale of goods and delight your customer.
What they’re looking for
Previous experience within a builders’ merchant is not essential. They want those transferable skills, such as exceptional customer service, a passion and commitment for exceeding sales targets, strong leadership, along with the enthusiasm to learn about our business and range of products.
You will already be highly adaptable, motivated, tenacious and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. And with the excellent communication and influencing skills you’ve developed you will be able to engage with a diverse set of stakeholders across their business along with the ability to make informed decisions and successfully implementing change.
Safety is at the forefront of everything they do, you will have a passion for keeping people safe and your aim will be to ensure all our colleagues and customers return home safely to their family and loved ones everyday.
