Our client is looking for an energetic and ambitious fundraiser to join a small but busy Fundraising team with a leading charity.

The Community and Events Fundraiser will be responsible for maximising income from a diverse range of cycling, trekking, running and team events. This will involve actively engaging participants in raising funds, ensuring a high quality customer experience and building strong ongoing relationships.

The successful candidate will also be required to manage and develop their current portfolio of supporters, whilst researching and developing new potential income streams.

The role will assist the Senior Fundraising Development Manager in developing the charity’s annual appeal; an exciting opportunity to get involved with an appeal which has grown in success year on year since its launch in 2013.

To be considered for this position, candidates will need to demonstrate a successful track record of working in a similar events fundraising position. Demonstrate the ability to raise funds to agreed annual targets and possess excellent organisational and communication skills. Attention to detail is crucial as accurate recording of income and expenditure will be key to this role.

You will be proactive with the ability to organise and prioritise a busy and varied workload. Excellent project management, customer service, IT and marketing skills are essential.

This post has a UK-wide remit and the post-holder will be required to travel throughout the UK. 

Some overnight travel and weekend working will be required occasionally.
