Part Time HR Administrator (fixed term)

We're currently recruiting for the following role on a fixed term basis for 12 months, covering maternity leave:

Part Time HR Administrator (fixed term)

We’re looking for an HR Administrator to provide a quality and efficient HR administration service to the HR team, managers and employees.

You will be responsible for providing general administrative support to the department with reference to records, general correspondence, information systems etc. ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act and for updating and maintaining the HR database ensuring it meets the needs of the department and Company.

Other responsibilities include sickness absence administration and monitoring, recruitment, training, starters and leavers co-ordination & administration and assisting in the support of line management on all aspects of HR – advice on procedures, documentation etc.

You will be required to provide back up support for the payroll administrator as required.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, being sensitive to individual situations whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times. You will be organised with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as in a team and will be flexible in your approach to work. A high level of attention to detail is required, along with the ability to use Excel to intermediate level and Word mail merge. An HR related qualification (e.g. Certificate of Personnel Practice) and/or experience of working in a HR department would be advantageous.

This role will be on a part time basis, working 4 days per week.
