Teacher of SEND 24-38K Near Horsham
Start Date: 3rd April 2017

The school caters for children that have social, emotional and/or behavioural difficulties. This means that the young individuals are full of energy and have a sparkling nature. These students want someone that can relate to them and support them in their daily lives. Students have been placed at this school as mainstream has failed them. Now is the opportunity to help these students interact with education. If you feel you have the skills to interact and help these students engage, do not hesitate to get in contact.

The school is currently looking for a teacher that is willing to work with special needs. NQT's and Experienced Teachers will be considered. This is a fantastic opportunity

In this role as class teacher you will be:-
> Helping students with their social, emotional and behavioural needs.
> Dedicated to helping students progress academically.
> Working with students in small groups to help raise progress.
> Working as a team to support the needs of the students and the school.
> Supporting learning in across the whole curriculum.
> Using your interests and personality to engage and work with learners.

The ideal candidate may posses the following skills and capabilities:-
> Experience of working with young people.
> Be able to work with learners that have a range of learning difficulties.
> Have an understanding of the learning difficulties and associated conditions.
> Be confident to support groups of students in an alternative educational provision.
> The ability to work as an individual and as a part of the team.
> Competent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
