They are seeking a Business Demand Planner to join the group supply chain function, the role is site based at Tipton. Ideally you will already hold a degree and have experience working in a FMCG planning environment and have a sound understanding of weekly, daily planning and forecasting. Training may be offered if the successful candidate can demonstrate the behaviors and other key skills required. You will be responsible for customer portfolios, setting up, managing and maintaining forecasting in SAP, especially focusing on daily demand planning. You will gain consensus of forecasts from sales and customers to develop a demand plan.
It is essential that you can work within tight deadlines and have a flexible attitude and that you are extremely customer focused with strong communication skills, enabling you to build and maintain close collaboration with the sales team, our customers and operation teams.
Their ideal candidate will be analytical with experience providing reports and performance measurements. You will be self-motivated, always seeking to evaluate working processes, making recommendations to improve overall performance, equally you will have strong conceptual and problem solving skills, offering solutions to overcome obstacles and issues identified. Equally it is essential that you are using Excel at an advanced level and have a sound knowledge of SAP.
