The ACC Liverpool Group, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, opened in January 2008 and has established itself as a leading centre for conferences and entertainment. We are currently expanding the business with the development of ?Exhibition Centre Liverpool' which has recently opened and hosted its first events.
We are looking to recruit a Production Manager - Creative to join our expanding Production Team. The role covers two key areas; firstly working on conference, exhibition and banqueting events within the venue, liaising with clients to provide technical services as required for their events - and maximizing opportunities for our production team in the process. Secondly, to provide 3D pre-visualisations of event designs for selected clients, and develop and maintain a creative strategy for the team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in production management from a wide variety of different styles and sizes of events, and will have knowledge and experience of a broad range of technical equipment and services across sound, lighting, AV and rigging disciplines. Experience of and ability to create 3D visuals to a professional standard and in a timely manner is considered essential for this role. Knowledge of industry related health and safety regulations, and the ability to assess and produce risk assessments are also essential for this role, and as such a qualification such as 'IOSH - Managing Safely' would be considered particularly desirable.
The ability to multi-task, being self-motivated as well as the ability to work as part of a team and independently are essential for success in this role. The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent customer service and first class communication skills.
