Leicester with travel to London

Salary: GBP26,077 pa + GBP1,200 pa car allowance

Hours: 35 hour per week (Flexibility is required as you may need to work alternative patterns as the service is to open between the hours of 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on a Saturday)

Do you have knowledge and experience of delivering comprehensive leasehold, agency management and consortium services?

Are you able to understand complex information and interpret leases and Managing Agreements effectively?

Do you have experience of managing consultation processes with leaseholders and Managing Agents including organising leaseholder surgeries?

Do you have experience of investigating disputes for leaseholders and Managing and Consortium Agents. Preparing cases for Court, Mediation and Tribunals, attending and giving evidence.

Our client is looking for two customer focussed Leasehold & Agency Services Officers to join the team based in Leicester.

This is a challenging role which requires an excellent problem solver and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with Shared Owners, legal teams, Managing and Consortium Agents and Finance Companies. It will be your responsibility to provide comprehensive leasehold, agency and consortium management services. You will lead on the management of and monitoring the performance of agents representing a superior landlord ensuring that all services are provided in accordance with the head lease.

Adhering to Group policies and procedures, you will investigate and resolve disputes arising from service charges or other lease, management and consortium agency issues. Customer focused and driven, you will prepare cases for Court, Mediation and Tribunals, attending and giving evidence, implementing statutory consultation processes (section 20) and dealing with enquiries and disputes that arise.

You will deal with applications requiring permissions under the lease, responding within set timescales and raising administration charges where the lease allows. In addition, you will have the ability to interpret long leases, head leases, management agreements and service level agreements and align these to operational delivery.
