A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Development Manager who will be responsible for delivering a high performing sustainable supply chain by developing a capable supply base in order to ensure On Time, On Cost, On Quality (OTOCOQ) equipment deliveries as per delivery plans

Your specific accountabilities within the Supply Chain Development Manager role will include:
*Informing the business of the supplier capability, strengths and weaknesses, manage further evaluation, risk assessment and undertake mitigation action through continuous improvement activities.
*Delivering manufacturing sustainment capability through supplier performance analysis to ensure robustness throughout the production phase.
*Supply chain risk management through the proactive collection and analysis of risk intelligence and the prevention and treatment of risk through the supply chain
*Working with suppliers all over the world in the territories that products are, or will be sold.
*Providing supply chain management support to industrial validation activities; during development phases; during the production phases, including reviewing the supplier Surveillance Plan.

You will have a background within supply chain management, ideally within a technical engineering environment, ideally you will be Degree level qualified plus CIPS post-graduate Diploma or equivalent and/or a significant track record of delivery and experience and you will have a proven record of networking at all levels within suppliers business.

Previous positions will also have seen you carrying out risk management, identification, analysis, forecast and action planning, effective evaluation of supplier's business, technical, manufacturing, design and TLCM readiness along with an appreciation/experience of project management techniques.
