Who we are looking for
Ideally you&rsquore a qualified accountant who&rsquos got a knack for getting the best out of a team. It&rsquos your confident communications skills and all-round financial knowledge &ndash including financial control and reporting &ndash that can guide a team to deliver best-in-class, intuitive reports. You&rsquove a natural ability to make the complex easy to understand, have superb PowerPoint and Excel skills and you&rsquore also a seasoned professional when it comes to using business intelligence tools and developing standardised and automated reporting. These are skills you&rsquove gained by working in the finance team of a large company and if you&rsquove come from multi-site, retail or hospitality business, that&rsquos great too.
A bit about the role
Working with the financial planning and analysis and finance business partners, you&rsquoll help develop the kind of business intelligence and reporting that will support us in our continued growth. As a manager of a small team, you&rsquoll be responsible for the quality of the work your team produces, so their motivation and development to come up with the goods is down to you. Creating faultless, automated and standardised management information reports that will add-value to the decision-making process are your priority. You&rsquoll also develop sales, margin and labour analysis and provide support on forecasting, budgets and analysis as required, as well any other ad-hoc reports that are needed. After all, you will be our specialist in this field.
