Job Title: Functional Skills Trainer

Location: Wolverhampton - with frequent National Travel required

Salary: Up to £27,000 depending on experience plus employee bonus, company car/allowance and pension

Job Role:

The company has a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified trainer to join their Learning & Development Team. This role has been developed to teach and assess Functional Maths / English / ICT to learners across the business.

You will plan and deliver innovative teaching techniques to help inspire and motivate learners on our vocational programmes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and deliver English, Maths and ICT Functional Skills for the business.
  • Working with business partners from the Vocational Learning team and Operations to develop new training products including e - learning and blended learning options.
  • Undertake study and research into the delivery of Functional Skills as is necessary to add value to the delivery of training
  • Have responsibility for the review and maintenance of a range of training products
  • Ensuring that all administration tasks associated with the role are completed accurately and on time

To be successful, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • A professional qualification in teaching is essential
  • Experience in teaching Functional Skills (Maths/English/ICT)
  • Experience of delivering training to all levels
  • Experience gained in an operational role with an apprenticeship programme is desirable.
