Job Title: Client IT Support

Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

Salary: £22,000 - £27,000 per annum (depending on experience) + excellent benefits and superb working environment

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

To support their rapid growth, they are seeking a Client IT Support Enthusiast to expand their current team within the Company. You will work in conjunction with the team providing their existing and new clients with excellent support and in addition continue to develop software products to meet their current and future client requirements.

Key responsibilities and deliverables

  • Work with the Team to provide first line technical telephone, remote and email support to their clients based in the UK and US.
  • Logging calls, troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware, network and software issues.
  • Bespoke customisation and configuration using common scripting languages such as JavaScript and XML.
  • Software Support: Providing new and existing clients with excellent levels of support both in new site roll-outs and ongoing support, both remotely and with on-site visits.

Skills and Experience

  • Solid understanding of Windows operating systems
  • The ability to explain PC and IT concepts in a friendly and patient manner
  • You will be a great team player, with a willingness to learn and the ability to solve problems
  • You will pay great attention to detail and have a proven ability to get things done
  • Knowledge of Telephony systems

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server operating systems and Windows
  • Knowledge of telephony and recording systems
  • Experience in systems integration and general web technologies
  • Possesses an analytical, problem solving orientation.
  • Work Management: Uses a clearly defined methodology for establishing priorities; sets rational and understandable priorities.
  • Results oriented: Understands the purpose of any work is to achieve the desired outcome.
  • An understanding of JavaScript, Linux SQL and My SQL, object orientated Languages
