As a Collections Team Leader, you will be tasked with leading a team of Collections Advisors in the recovery of arrears on behalf of external customers.
Specifically, you will lead and develop your team to achieve performance targets, manage their workload and prioritise and delegate tasks to ensure successful workflows.
Working to achieve SLA targets, you will take part in client meetings to help build excellent relationships and ensure that their interests are reflected in all activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering collections performance to target in a cost effective manner
- Managing the performance of your team and providing training, coaching and development
- Recruiting for staff
- Conducting documented account and call audits and ensuring all remedial actions are completed
- Dealing with escalated complaints
Interested? If so, you must have:
- Considerable experience within a collections role
- Demonstrable experience of continuously reaching monthly targets
- Excellent knowledge of industry compliance inclusive of DPA, FCA, OFCOM and CPA
- The ability to identify and address conduct risk
Friendly and personable, as a Collections Team Leader, you must have strong communication skills. You must also be able to remain calm under pressure and effectively prioritise your workload.
A background in quality assurance would be advantageous to your application.
