Our client is a contract manufacturer of high quality chemical products for both the FMCG (Personal Care, Home Care and Private Label) and institutional markets.  They have established ourselves as the leading contract manufacturer in Saudi Arabia, offering a “one stop” contact point for those clients wishing to take advantage of the largest market in the GCC and to operate throughout the Middle East.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Development Chemist to join them at their office in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. 

Within this role, you will be responsible for driving new projects with creative and innovative thinking to satisfy their customers’ requirements.

Reporting to the Quality & Product Development Manager, you will develop new concepts and business opportunities and enhance current product portfolio with new innovations.

You will conduct all testing carried out in the laboratory and on the process area and filling lines as required as well as overseeing the work of the Product Development Technicians in terms of formulation generation, testing and projects progression to market.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you possess a Degree level classification in Chemistry or any related science from a recognised University.  Substantial experience working in a senior capacity in a laboratory is essential; this could be from a FMCG company manufacturing industrial cleaning chemicals, cosmetics, or toiletry products or from a related industry.  You should also be able to communicate very well in both written and verbal English.
